Easy music for content

Signed up for the Commercial Plan. Got some cinematic music for a client project. Downloads were fast. Good selection. Works for my needs.

Good for my YouTube videos

I grabbed the Personal Plan last month for my YouTube stuff. It was super easy to find some chill lo-fi beats for my vlogs. The whole process, from signing up to downloading tracks, felt really smooth. I just clicked around, found what I needed, and it worked out great. No weird issues or anything.

Mostly good, minor gripe

I signed up for the Personal Plan mostly for podcast background music. The selection of acoustic tracks and corporate music is quite good, and I appreciate the consistent quality. Downloading was simple enough. My only minor issue was when I tried finding specific Foley sounds; the search results weren't always as precise as I hoped, and I had to scroll a bit. However, once I found what I needed, the music itself worked perfectly in my project. Value for money is decent, especially with the volume of tracks available.

Solid service for creators

I recently subscribed to the Commercial Plan for my freelance video work. The ordering process was straightforward on their site; no confusing steps. Delivery is instant, of course, since it's digital music. I've used their royalty-free music for several advertising spots now, and the quality of the tracks, especially the electronic music, has been consistently high. I also tried out their Adobe Premiere Pro extension, and it made integrating music into my edits much faster. Customer support was pretty quick when I had a question about whitelisting a new channel, which was helpful. It's a good value for professional content creation.

Amazing tracks, loved it!

Oh my gosh, I just got the Personal Plan and it's fantastic! The music selection for my Twitch streams is incredible, so many great hip hop beats and ambient soundscapes. It was so simple to download everything, and the sound quality is top-notch. I found exactly what I needed super fast. I am definitely using them again for all my content, and I've already told my friend who makes Instagram reels about it. Seriously happy with this!

Reliable for my projects

I've been a subscriber for a while now, usually on the Commercial Plan. This last time I downloaded some transition SFX and intro music for a new client project. It was just as smooth as my previous experiences; the website interface for finding and downloading tracks hasn't really changed, which is good for consistency. I appreciate that the quality of their electronic music and cinematic tracks remains high. It's why I keep coming back instead of trying other platforms. Never had an issue with copyright claims, either, which is a big plus.

Thinking of getting Epidemic Sound for my YouTube channel. Is it really royalty-free? Like, will I actually avoid copyright strikes?

G Greg S. 1 month ago
Yeah, it's legit. I've used their stuff for years on YouTube and never had a single copyright claim. Just make sure your channel is whitelisted.

Totally royalty-free. The whole point is that they handle all the licensing so you don't have to worry about it. Just link your channel properly and you're good.

If I cancel my subscription, can I still use the music I downloaded during my active period in new videos?

B Ben Q. 1 month ago
Nope, you can only use the music in content published while your subscription is active. If you cancel, new projects can't use their tracks anymore.

J Josh Y. 1 month ago
The license covers content published while you're subscribed. Any videos or podcasts you make *after* canceling can't use their music without re-subscribing.

Is Epidemic Sound generally better than something like Soundstripe or PremiumBeat for a small time content creator?

N Nick 1 month ago
I used Soundstripe before switching to Epidemic Sound. I personally found Epidemic's library to be way bigger and the search tools better. Plus the stems feature is a game changer.

It really depends on what kind of music you need. Epidemic has a huge selection and the quality is consistently good. I think the licensing is a bit clearer too compared to some others. Worth doing the free trial for both to compare.

How many social media channels can I link to my account? I have a main YouTube and a couple of side projects.

R Rachel Z. 1 month ago
I think it's one main channel for the Personal Plan, but you can link multiple if you get the Commercial Plan. Double-check that though.

N Neil 1 month ago
For the Personal plan, it's generally one channel per platform (like one YouTube, one Instagram). If you need more, you probably need the Commercial plan.

Can you actually use Epidemic Sound music for client work, like for a local business ad or something?

P Paula Y. 1 month ago
Yeah, but you'll need the Commercial Plan for that. The Personal Plan is only for your own stuff, not client projects.

R Renee T. 1 month ago
Definitely. That's what the Commercial Plan is for. I use it for all my freelance video gigs, no issues at all.
